Description
In 96% very sharp condition, all matching including the magazine, we have an extremely rare 1940 Mauser Banner Dutch contract P.08 Luger Pistol that was re-issued probably at the Mauser factory to the German Army and so marked with the e/655 waffenamt. The pistol is all matching with a mint bore and just shows some carry wear, mostly on the grip straps.
According to Still, there were 700 of these pistols in the Dutch contract and all were diverted to the German Army. Less than 40 are known to exist in collections, making this an important and rarely seen Nazi Luger variant. Just a fine looking rare Dutch/Nazi Luger that you never see for sale.
