Description
In excellent all matching condition, we have a seldom seen Italian 1891/41 Carcano Rifle for Alpine Troops. This example was made at the ARMAGUERRA CREMONA Arsenal in 1942 and has the correct sling as well. These rifles were manufactured from 1941 to 1943 primarily to arm the Italian divisions that fought on the Russian Front. They are rarely seen here in America except in turd condition and import marked, so this is something of a find. Surprisingly, while not expensive, decent original condition Italian Service Rifles are a bit elusive to locate and we rarely get such nice examples in the office.
