MON OCT 5, SNIDER ENFIELD RIFLE MKII, CONVERTED 1860 3 BAND MUSKET, FROM A 1940’s CANADIAN COLLECTION, VERY SHARP! ANTIQUE!

In antique excellent condition we have a Canadian shipped, London Armory Co. marked Snider Enfield breech loading Service rifle.  This British Empire service rifle was converted to a breech loading .577 caliber rifle and this conversion process began in 1866.  This a classic three band Enfield rifle musket converted to a breech loader.  This was the standard Service rifle up until the Martini Henry.

This rifle and the 2 other Sniders we are listing today came out of a very old Canadian collection that was brought into this country in the late 1940’s.  They have been in basement storage since at least the 1960’s.
