In 95% condition all matching including the magazine, we have a very scarce Type 14 Nambu Pistol as produced by the Nagoya Army Arsenal, Chigusa Factory. This is from the last month of Nagoya/Chigusa production, November 1932 and is the Highest known serial number, 7824. According to the Brown/Derby book, the highest previously known serial # was 7808. It may well be the final one produced. After this month’s production, the machinery was transferred to the Nambu Kokubunji Factory which resumed production a year later in December, 1933 after the factory was set up. This rare date/maker combination will drive any serious Type 14 collector into a wild frenzy, as you have a Pistol that is from the rarest maker from the final month’s production and the highest discovered serial number known. On top of all of that it still even has the original matching mag, which you just rarely ever see on these early Type 14’s. This pistol should certainly fuel most peoples Nambu-Mania.
