In 98+% mint crisp condition still with the original matching numbered mag, we have a June, 1944 production Nambu type 94 pistol. The pistol is all matching and has a mint bore. This is a mid war variant with the plastic grips. All type 94’s have a very sketchy look and this one is very roughly finished but the condition is just stunning. The Type 94 is widely and often maligned as the worst manufactured and designed pistol used by the any of the major combatants of the Second World War. None the less, it is fully functional and fairly reliable. It is certainly better than carrying a sword! As far as collecting Japanese firearms goes, it is much scarcer than the Type 14 Nambu and is quite seriously collected. This is a top example.
