About 4 or 5 years ago, these revolvers were discovered in a National Guard Armory in Alabama as the story is told. This is one of the handful that were still in the original Colt box. We have a 99% mint new Colt Commando 4 inch .38 spec. Revolver still in the matching box. It has a Sgt’s name on it but it appears it was never actually issued. This revolver US Army flaming bomb proofed and GHD inspected. If you are looking for a Commando for your collection this is a great example. Priced at about what they were selling for years back. This is a real find for the US WW2 pistol collector.
