Description

This is a great example of a Japanese Army officer issued FN Model 1910 Pistol.  The pistol is in 96% condition with a mint bore.  The gun has is well documented we have two FN factory letters.  They indicate that the gun was a 1937 shipment to the well known FN agent Schroeder in Liege.  One FN letter speculates that it was sold to the Chinese, however recent scholarship in Anthony Vanderlinden’s excellent book indicates the gun was shipped directly to Japan for Japanese Army officer purchase.  This comes with a marked Japanese holster that is a real corker.  These Japanese marked FN 1910’s are tough to locate and this is a top example.  This was probably the most commonly used pistol by Japanese Army Officers in WW2.
