Description

In excellent condition, we have a very sharp example of a 1917 production Winchester Model 97 Riot Gun.  This is in the military serial number range but likely was not issued.  After the War these shotguns were sold off to various Law Enforcement organizations and they just as easily could be associated with the “Public Enemy/Bootlegger era of the 1920’s and early 1930’s.  This is a top condition example and it a real attentiion grabber.  If you are looking for a gangster era shotgun this certainly would be the iconic example.
