Description

In 98% condition we have a top example of the very scarce Pre-WW2 FN Baby Browning 6.35mm Vest Pocket Pistol.  Although known as the Baby Browning this pistol was actually designed by Dieudonné Saive in the late 1920’s to compete against the equally small Walther Model 9.  Production commenced in 1931 but few were sold before the war.  Our mint example was made in the mid 1930’s.  While a bit of the bust before the war, after the war things  improved for this tiny pistol.  Sales took off in the 1950’s and it stayed in production for many years.  For collectors finding an early production example is not easy and this is a top example.
