SOLD WW2 NATIONALIST CHINESE FN MODEL 1930 RIFLE…..IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND MATCHING & NON IMPORT….NICE TOO!!!

THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE RAREST AND MOST DIFFICULT FIREARMS FROM WW2 TO LOCATE IN ANY SIGNIFICANT CONDITION…….In very good plus all matching condition, even with an excellent bore, we have a 1935 production FN Model 1930 rifle in 8×57 caliber Nationalist Chinese Service Rifle.  This rifle is from the 1935 contract which was the first order that was filled with the new model 1930 FN rifle.  All previous Chinese orders were for the earlier FN Model 1924.  The difference between the two models is that the receivers used on the Model 1930 were standard size and compatible with the German/Czech Standards.

The land war In China (2nd Sino-Japanese War) which ran from 1937 through 1945 is under-appreciated and often overlooked in the West, however this was a Huge Conflict and major theater of the WW2.  Chinese Infantry small arms saw incredibly hard use and most were used up in the war. The typical Chinese soldier suffered tremendous hardship during this war.   After WW2 most of these weapons found there way into the hands of the Chinese People Liberation Army and after the civil war were badly stored and became little more than junk.  Today, finding a fairly decent example of any small arm used by the Kuomintang is extremely problematic.  The pure evidence of this fact is all the ranting and raving I am doing here over a $1600 rifle!
