Description

In 97% very sharp condition,100% factory original and with a mint bore, we have a Colt model 1911 US Army that was shipped on August 26, 1914 to the Commanding officer of the San Antonio Arsenal in Texas, very likely for Cavalry units stationed in the area. This is a very crisp beautiful example much nicer than you usually see early military Colts the pistols is original and 100% factory correct and the bore is mint as well. This pistol is one of the nicest early Colts that we have seen in a long time, its very sharp and has a ton of condition.  Pistols like this were used on the Punitive Expedition in Mexico against Pancho Villa.
