SOLD EXCEPTIONAL MINT COLT 1911A1 US ARMY PISTOL…EARLY BLUED FINISH…RS CARTOUCHED…SHIPPED 6/28/1941

In 98% mint crisp condition, we have an exceptional example of a blued finish 1941 production Robert Sears Cartouched Colt 1911a1 pistol.  This pistol was shipped to Springfield Armory on June 28, 1941.  The bore is mint, the pistol is completely matching including the slide and is 100% factory correct.  The grips are the early Coltrock hollowback grips.  This is probably the nicest example of a blued RS pistol that I have seen in 30 years.  This is an exceptional piece for the serious Colt or US martial pistol collector.
