Here is an great FN rarity, in 98% mint sharp condition we have a prime example of one of the 6,064 FN Model 1910 Pistols that was assembled under early Nazi Occupation in July or August, 1940. It is in the known serial range and has the tell tale non flanged crude trigger, as an FN employee dumped the trigger assemblies into the sewer shortly after the plant was occupied and roughly made replacements were quickly cobbled together under Nazi supervision. These early occupation assembled pistols were not Waffenamted because the Waffenamt inspector whose code was WaA613 had not yet arrived at the factory. Production was not continued beyond using up the supply of parts on hand. The primary reason would have been that the larger sized FN Model 1922 was a much more suitable pistol for military use. This is a great historical FN and WW2 pistol as it was assembled just a few months after the Germans rolled into the FN plant.
