Description

In antique excellent condition, we have a British officer Boer War purchased Webley Mark III .455 service revovler with the very rare long 6 Inch Barrel.  The revolver is inscribed on the back strap W. Bryan F Rayner. Oct 6th 1899, which dates it to the 2nd Anglo Boer War and almost certainly seeing combat in WWI as well.  This is a very desirable British Webley Revolver on so many levels, It is named & dated it is still in the original .455 caliber and most importantly it is in the very rare long barrel length of 6 inches that you don’t usually see till the later Mark VI model.  Of course this is all matching and the bore is mint, it just as seen a lot of carry in the past 121 years.  This is a must by it when you see it revolver and it will not last for long on the site.Â
