Description

In excellent all matching condition, we have a very scarce, non-import marked M1889/21 Danish Krag Service rifle in 8m/m Danish Krag.  This was the standard Danish Army Service rifle at the outbreak of WW2 and this rifle is unit marked to an Infantry Regiment.  After the Surrender of Denmark in the spring of 1940 these rifles ended up in German hands who issued them to coastal defense and garrison troops who occupied the country for the duration of the war.

These rifles are not easy to locate and you rarely ever see them matching and this nice.  The bore is excellent and the stock has not been sanded.  Ammunition is available now from Buffalo Arms so you can shoot this if you wish, After having it inspected by a gunsmith.  This is one of the more obscure infantry weapons from WW2 but it is certainly one that any advanced WW2 or Scandinavian military collector will find very appealing.
