IN 96% VERY SHARP ORIGINAL CONDITION, ALL MATCHING WITH AN EXCELLENT BORE, WE HAVE A VERY HARD TO FIND 2nd Year production 1931 dated No2 Mk1 ENFIELD SERVICE REVOLVER IN 38 S&W. This revolver bears no import or export markings which is most unusual to say the least, it is marked exactly as it would have been during the war and may well have been a vet bringback. ALMOST ALL OF THESE MANUFACTURED WERE LATER CONVERTED TO DOUBLE ACTION ONLY BY REMOVING THE SPUR ON THE HAMMER. ALMOST ALL OF THE VERY EARLY GUNS THAT HAD A SPUR HAD THEM REMOVED BEGINNING IN 1939. WE RARELY SEE ONE OF THESE THAT IS IN IT’S ORIGINAL CONDITION. A REVOLVER SUCH AS THIS WOULD HAVE SEEN ACTION FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE WAR RIGHT ON THROUGH TO THE END. IT COULD EASILY HAVE BEEN AT DUNKIRK, EL ALAMEIN, D-DAY, ARNHEM, THIS IS A GREAT PIECE OF THE BRITISH ARMY FROM WW2.
SOLD SCARCE EARLY 1931 BRITISH ENFIELD No2 Mk1 .38 REVOLVER…UN-MODIFIED, NOT IMPORT/EXPORT MARKED, NICE!
