Description

IN ANTIQUE EXCELLENT CONDITION WE HAVE A SCARCE 1895 MANUFACTURED WEBELY MARK II SERVICE REVOLVER STILL IN THE ORIGINAL .455 CALIBRE AND ALL MATCHING.  THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY FIRST MARK TWO’S THAT WAS PRODUCED AND WOULD HAVE BEEN MADE IN 1895.  THIS REVOLVER DEFINATLEY COULD HAVE SEEN SERVICE IN THE ANGLO DUTCH BOER WAR.  IT IS BROAD ARROW ROYAL NAVY MARKED AND WOULD HAVE STAYED IN THE SERVICE THROUGH THE END OF WW2.  THIS IS ONE OF THE HARDER PRE WW1 WEBLEY VARIANTS TO LOCATE AND THIS IS VERY MUCH A TOP END EXAMPLE.  THE GRIPS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE BORE HAS MINIMAL WEAR.  A WONDERFUL PISTOL FROM A VERY ADVENTUROUS PERIOD.
