This is an extremely rare and very important example of one of the earliest known SURVIVING FN Model 1900 pistols, from the initial 1900 order for the Belgian Military. Indeed, it is the 2,351st pistol that was made! In 95% condition we have one of the earliest known Belgian Military Pistolet Automatique 1900 that has all of the rare features only seen on the first year 1900 production examples, such as the extremely fragile special plain black checkered grips, spot faced circles on frame for SUR & FEU, the fire blued trigger, very early type logo and proofs.
For a serious FN collector this is a real find, these guns just did not survive in this high state of preservation, especially with the ultra-rare early synthetic grips that were so fragile a mean look could crack them to pieces. Almost all of these guns found will have the wooden arsenal replacement grips. This is a very important artifact of Belgian and WWI history.
