COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL PISTOL……….SHIPPED DEC 27, 1915…….VERY SHARP COMMERCIAL 1911….SPECIAL ORDER

Colt Factory letter indicates that this pistol was shipped on Dec 27, 1915 to Powell & Clement, Cincinnati, Ohio and the letter notes that it was furnished with a 6 pound trigger pull.  In  97%+ very sharp hard to locate condition, we have a top collector grade example of a Colt Government model 1911 Pistol.  This pistol is totally factory correct including the original barrel with an excellent bore.  Pre WWI commercial Colt 1911 Pistols are scarce, they were expensive and not many could afford them.  This is a great example that really pops.
