Description

IN 95% ORIGINAL NON REWORKED CONDITION,  WE HAVE A PARTICULARLY NICE, VERY RARE M11 DUTCH EAST INDIES ARMY LUGER WITH THE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER BRASS PLATE UNIT MARKING. WHAT MAKES THIS JUST NEARLY SPECTACULAR IS THAT IT IS STILL WITH THE ORIGINAL EXTREMELY RARE M1938 DUTCH LUGER HOLSTER!  THIS IS THE RAREST OF THE DUTCH LUGER HOLSTERS.   THIS LUGER WAS MANUFACTURED JUST PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF WW1 IN 1914.   THIS  IS REFERRED TO AS THE M11 LUGER OR SOMETIMES THE MODEL 1906 DUTCH.  ANOTHER  REALLY DESIRABLE PART OF THIS PISTOL IS THAT IT STILL HAS THE VERY RARE DUTCH MAGAZINE WITH THE UNUSUAL AND COMPLICATED SPRING TO HOLD THE BASE.  THESE LUGERS SAW VERY HARD USE IN A TROPICAL ENVIRONMENT AND YOU JUST NEVER SEE THEM THIS NICE.  THIS IS A SUPER EXAMPLE OF A DUTCH LUGER.  ALMOST ALL OF THESE LUGERS WERE OBTAINED BY THE JAPANESE WHEN THE DUTCH CAPITULATED AND WERE SUBSEQUENTLY USED BY THEM DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR. THIS LUGER WAS A WW2 US VET BRINGBACK AND WAS CAPTURED OFF THE JAPANESE.
