SOLD EXCEPTIONAL VERY EARLY MAUSER PRODUCTION (SERIAL #1108)….. byf 42 P.38 PISTOL….MINT NEW CONDITION!

In 98% plus mint sharp condition, we have a very early production serial # 1108 Mauser byf 42 P.38 Pistol.  This is the very early variant with the Eagle/135 proofed small parts.  The bore is excellent and the pistol is of course all matching and factory original.  These very early Mauser made pistols are very interesting because Mauser had not yet perfect the production techniques and they show a certain roughness of milling in certain areas, especially the front grip strap. These pistols are known for the dusty blue finish and the the E/135 proofed small parts.    As you might well imagine this is a very significant piece for the P.38 collector as it is very early and in pristine condition. The bargain with this piece is having the chance to buy it at all.
