Description

In 98% mint sharp condition, we have a top example of the WW2 era European Dutch Army Service Pistol, the 9m/m short FN Browning Model 1922 Pistol. This pistol is fully rigged out with a matching cleaning rod and a matching numbered 1939 dated Dutch Army Holster.  The mag is a correct un-numbered Dutch magazine.  This pistol was manufactured in 1939 and bears the inspection stamp of Capt Holscher of the Dutch Arsenal in Hembrug.   In Holland this pistol was known as the Pistool M25 No.2.  Pistol Collectors often refer to it as the “FN Dutch Queen Wilhelmina Pistol” for the” Crown W” stamped on the top of the slide. It was the standard issue weapon of the Dutch military during WW2 and large quantities were surrendered To the Germans and reissued to the Navy and SS and also to the Army to a lesser extent.  The pistol is all matching and has a mint bore.  You rarely see these still with the factory original matching mag as this one is. Certainly the nicest example of the Famous Dutch WW2 pistol we have seen in many years!!!
