Description
In 97% condition, we have a very important documented Colt Commando .38 Special Revolver that was shipped on August 27, 1943 to the very important and early pre-Oak Ridge Manhattan project site, The Clinton Engineer Works of the Tennessee-Eastman Corporation in Elza TN. This is the site where the enrichment of uranium to bomb grade material occurred.
Only a few of these revolvers have turned up; Rock Island sold one in 2021 for well north of 6k. With the Oppenheimer Movie out, on could not think of a better time to own this very important piece of Atomic History.
