In excellent, mint all matching condition, we have an awesome looking Walther ac 43 coded G.41 (w) semi automatic rifle fitted with a ZF41 scope, with a very rare mount and original can. The scope and can are original and the mount was a high end exact copy of one made in Germany off one of the few surviving examples. This was in the Famous Bob Jensen Collection from when he acquired it in 1972 and it still comes with his original notes on the whole setup. This has had only one owner since Bob, so this is a really important piece to come back onto the market.
The G.41 was the first successful Nazi attempt at a Semi automatic rifle. It was very heavy, and complex to make, and proved to be very disliked by the troops in the field, especially when compared to the Soviet SVT-4o Rifle which was much lighter and all around a more effective design. When used in the sharp shooting role from a fixed position this was a highly effective weapon and in that role it did well. This rifle is very sharp, all matching with clear cartouches and the sniping equipment really set it up as one of the nicest examples around anywhere.
