In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a very desirable German Army issued late 1944 production Blank Slide Model 1935 Beretta Pistol in 7.65 caliber with the correct original Italian made German Style holster. This late production example was rushed out the door with no slide marking and a non serial numbered barrel and is a textbook example of the final version of this pistol made during the war. This pistol bears the well known German Army acceptance stamp of a 4UT in an oval. This was the inspection mark used by the German Technical inspector at the Beretta factory. The pistol is all matching and has a mint bore.
These later war pistols were widely used by the German forces operating in Northern Italy and are thought to have been issued to the Volksturm Units in the closing phase of the war. These German issued Beretta pistols have always been very popular with collectors and this rare blank slide variant will definitely not hang around for long.
