Description

In 92% nice condition, we have a fine example of the WWI Austrian Military Issued Model 1912 Steyr Hahn Pistol with the original WWII capture papers.  This is military accepted in 1916 so I would assume it’s very early 1917 production as the slide is 1917 dated.  This is all matching with an excellent bore.  Chambered for the 9mm Steyr cartridge this was a tad more potent than the 9mm Luger cartridge.  This pistol has no magazine and is loaded from the top either singly or with a stripper clip.  Although the design was a bit archaic the pistols were very reliable and were in till in use by many during WW2.  If you collect WWI era pistols this is a fine example for your collection.
