In mint all matching condition, we have an exceptionally rare and highly sought-after Mauser Oberndorf Commercial made Model 1924 Gewehr 98 Wehrmannsgewehr (Service Man’s Target Rifle, caliber 8.15x46r) Rifle. While most of the Service Man rifles were converted from WWI era Gew 98 rifles into single shot rifles, these magazines fed rifles were Newly Made by Mauser and are of the highest pre-war commercial quality fit and finish. They are highly sought after by collectors for the unique crest on the buttstock which is believed to be an MW for Mauser Werke.
