In 96% very sharp condition, we have a nice example of a US Navy issued High Standard Model B Pistol. This pistol was delivered to the Navy in 1942 and they were used to train personnel in the use of a handgun. They were also used by the OSS as well often fitted with silencers. The Navy Procured approximately 12,500 of these pistols and they stayed in service well after WW2. While they do turn up frequently they are hard to find in this very clean condition as they are heavily used and abused in training and target practice. High Standard .22 Pistols are avidly collected and none more so than the one that actually saw wartime service with our Navy.
