SOLD VERY RARE G DATE KRIEGSMARINE ISSUED P.08 LUGER PISTOL…….ALL MATCHING INCLUDING THE MAG!

In 95% condition, we have a textbook example of a very rare and highly sought after G date (1935) German Navy issued S/42 code P.08 Luger Pistol.  The pistol is all matching including the double matching factory original magazine which was serialized to the pistol, and also serialized to the North Sea Fleet Property number.   They both have to match to be correct.  This is a “d” block pistol, all the known Navy pistols are from the d,e,f blocks.  There are estimated to be only 473 procured for the Nord See Fleet and 302 for the Ost See Fleet.  This corresponds to the “N” property mark on the front grip strap of the pistol.  As you might well imagine, this gun is esoterically rare….most of them are sitting on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean and of the handful that survived how many are this nice and still with a matching mag?  Simply put, when one is offered for sale and you collect Navy pistols you buy it.
