In 97% very sharp condition we have an esoterically rare end of Polish Military production Viz35 Radom pistol with a delta Δ suffix serial number, referred to by collectors as the “Mobilization Model”, the Δ symbol was used to identify these pistols as emergency wartime expediency production in the few weeks before and during the outbreak of war in Sept, 1939, when Poland was invaded. It is estimated that less than 2000 were produced making this the rarest Polish Eagle Variant and just a handful in any condition are known to have survived. The Δ delta symbol was used to identify these pistols for quality control issues as they were hurriedly assembled and rushed to the front. This pistol is a totally matching and it is a factory original textbook example. The bore is decent with some slight frosting and it comes with a Polish pre-war proofed magazine as well. This pistol was produced in the during one of the most tumultuous periods in Polish and World History. One can only wonder what was gong through the mind of the desperate Polish soldier who may have carried it in September, 1939.
