In excellent all matching condition we have an extremely desirable and highly sought after Nagoya Arsenal 6th series Type 99 Service Rifle. This rifle is from the early part of the 6th series and has an unusual combination of features such as the anti aircraft sight factory installed without the wings, the short cleaning rod and the mid war non monopod type of band. These features are what make this a transition from the early production guns to the “last Ditch” variants. As such these rifles are highly sought after because these changes occurred very rapidly and few rifles are found with these features. This rifle was just obtained from the a very extensive collection of Japanese rifles that were collected over a lifetime and there are many fine examples of rifles that you just rarely see today.
