SOLD US WWII REMINGTON MODEL 11 MILITARY RIOT SHOTGUN, 1943 PRODUCTION, VERY SHARP!

In excellent condition, we have a very desirable 1943 production US government contract Remington Model 11 Riot Shotgun.  This is the standard military finish production variant.  The gun is totally un-messed with and original.  The FJA crossed cannon cartouche is very clear   The barrel is military proofed and as with all of these guns in riot configuration it is cylinder bore and had a 5 shot capacity.  These Browning designed semi-auto shotguns are the same gun as today’s Browning A5 shotguns and this has proven to be a design that has stood the test of time.  During the war, these shotguns would be used by the Military Police to guard prisoners and installations.  They were widely used by the Navy in various roles.  This is a great WW2 combat shotgun.
