In 97+% mint sharp condition, we have a top example of an early 1944 production Nazi waffenamted Astra Model 600 Pistol in 9m/m Luger. This pistol is serial numbered towards the middle of the 10,000 that were actually delivered to the Germans and were waffenamt WaAD20 inspected. The pistol is all matching with an excellent bore still with bright fire blue on the extractor which you rarely see. The Astra 600 was developed at the request of the Germans who liked the Astra 400 but were put off by the large size and the 9m/m Largo caliber. The pistol was then redesigned, it was reduced in size and chambered in the standard 9m/m Luger round. These pistols are extremely tough and exceedingly well made. That they were so highly thought of by the Germans speaks volumes and it is the best loved of the more obscure Spanish/Nazi pistols by collectors today. This is a very solid good looking example and they are seldom ever seen this nice.
