Description

In excellent all matching condition, , we have a very scarce and hard to find 1893 dated Erfurt Arsneal manufactured  Imperial German Army Model Kar.88 nm Carbine that is marked to the famous 1st Bavarian Uhlan Cavalry Regiment.   It has the “S” bore marking to shoot the .323 caliber ammunition and the bore is mint as well.  This is a very sharp example with great blue and beautiful cartouches in the stock which is a very beautiful piece of walnut.

These are very tough carbines to find in any suitable condition, and especially still all matching.   These carbines served right through to the end of WWI and were in constant front line service.  Certainly one of the most desirable and difficult to locate arms of the WWI era and the great thing about this one is that it is an antique firearm.
