Description
In excellent condition we have a very sharp example of a hard to find Smith Corona made 1903A3 Springfield Rifle that was produced in August of 1943. It has not been rebuilt or overhauled in any way, as evidenced by the presence of only the original P proof. As is correct with these factory original rifles the parts are a mixture of blued and parkerized finish. The rifle is a top example of the last version of the legendary 1903 Springfield rifle. These rifles saw much front line action during the war as there were never enough Garands to go around. This is a very attractive rifle that is factory original all Smith Corona.
