In 98++% MINT NEW all matching condition with totally factory original finish, we have an extremely rare Non-Import Marked, Very Early June 1944, production Initial Chinese Contract Canadian Inglis Mk 1∗ Tangent Slotted High Power Pistol with a mint condition correct 1945 dated Shoulder Stock. This is all matching and the bore is mint new as well. The serial number which has no number prefix before the “CH” represents the very first slotted tangent sight pistols produced by Inglis and as such it is extremely rare!
This pistol actually never made it to China, as the supply lines at the time were not stable. It was instead issued to the Canadian or British Army Fighting in Europe at this time, In fact this pistol could well have been at Arnhem in Sept 1944 for Operation Market Garden.
This is a very rare opportunity to own a prime example of the very Famous Inglis made WWII High Power.
