Description
In very sharp condition, we have a very hard to source German WWI issued all matching 1916 SIMSON, Suhl made Mauser Gewehr 98 Service rifle. This is totally original and matching down to the screws. The stock msrkings and cartouches are quite clear. The bore is excellent as well.
Many years ago when I collected these rifles I was lucky if I could find 2 matching examples per year and that’s when we were doing 35040 gun shows annually. This is a real find being such a rare and well known maker and still intact is quite something.
