Description

In British Arsenal black suncorite enamel condition, we have a very scarce 1920 Production British Military Issued Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless .32 auto Pistol with the rare WWII holster it was carried in.   This is one of around 3300 that were purchased by the British Military for use during the Irish Rebellion in 1921.  During WWII these pistols were issued to the RAF and the clandestine Special Operations Executive for use by agents in occupied Europe.  This pistol has the typical British Suncorite Paint finish.  This would have been how is was issued during WW2. British Military proofed 1903 Colts are nearly impossible to locate and rarely come up for sale. this is a Significant Find for the serious Colt collector.

This pistol came from the collection of the late noted collector John James.  According to John this pistol was used as seen here by an SOE officer during WWII.  The Holster is very unusual, definitely British and is named to a F. Harris.
