Description

In 97% mint crisp condition and still with the matching magazine, we have a top example of a later war July, 1944 produced Nagoya Arsenal 2nd Series Type 14 Nambu Pistol. This pistol comes with a rare box of ammunition plus a holster that is named to a Lt. Koyama, which you just never see! This has the late mid war fine knurled cocking nob and of course is a large triggerguard variant.  All matching DOWN TO THE FIRING PIN and with a mint bore this is just about as fine as an example of a 1944 production gun that you will find.

While certainly not in the top tier of effective service pistols of WWII , the major drawbacks were a not overly powerful cartridge and magazines that were not easy to extract under any circumstances let alone in the jungle during combat.  They are extremely accurate and easy to hit with.  During the war this was a highly sought after war trophy and they do certainly have a very Luger like appearance that adds to the allure.  This is a very clean and great looking example.
