In at least 96% condition, we have a fairly hard to find WWI German Army Issued Dreyse Model 1907 Pistol. This is Imperial proofed on the right side in front of the ejection port. Approximately 120,000 were made for the Military during WW1 but nice examples have never been easy to obtain. This one is all matching with a mint bore as well.
During the first 30 years of the 20th century the Dreyse Pistol was extremely popular and highly regarded in Germany. Most German Police Agencies purchased large numbers of them and they served right through to the end of WWII with many Nazi era police agencies. Despite the seemingly ungainly looks to our modern eye, these pistols were and still are among the better made and reliable pocket autos of the era. There has been a significant uptick in interest and we get many questions about them.
