In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a 1954 production Smith&Wesson Pre Model 27 Revolver, know at the time as The .357 Magnum Revolver.  This is a 6 1/2 inch model with a factory case. Considered to be one of the finest revolvers ever built by S&W, this is an absolute man-killer from the days of big men and even bigger guns.  Revolvers from this era are collected strongly and I suspect its from the nostalgia that they can evoke.
