SOLD NORWEGIAN DUV 42 MAUSER 98K 30-06 CONVERSION…..MINT AND MATCHING!

This is like having your cake and eating it too!  Here we have a very desirable Berlin Lubecker made DUV42 coded Mauser 98k Rifle that was converted post war to 30-06 caliber.  Unlike most of these rifles this still is a German mostly matching rifle, including the bolt.  These rifles were converted post war from the German 8×57 to the US 30-06.  The reason for this was to adapt a uniform caliber conforming to US specifications.  This was an extremely well done rebuild and a definite upgrade to a more powerful cartridge.  These rifles are very uniquely marked and are highly sought after by collectors and shooters alike.  This rifle is marked to the Norwegian Army.  The bore is mint.  These rifles were released by Norway in the 1980’s and 90’s and were snatched up by collectors as soon as they hit the market.  This example is as good a you will ever find one.
