$13,500.00

There is no question that the 1937-1941 Blued Military Colt 1911A1 pistols are the most sought after military pistols of the 20th Century; very few were made and most did not survive WW2, at least not intact. Â In 1940 Colt produced 4,696 of them and this pistol is from the first 1940 shipment that was sent to Springfield Armory on April 18, 1940. Â The gun is in 97+% original condition and is factory original and correct. Â The slide is matching numbered to the pistol and the barrel is the correct Colt small G military barrel. The grips are the rare early Coltrock grips. Â The condition of this pistol is very high and we have rarely ever seen nicer looking examples. Â These pistols bring outrageous prices at auctions and here is your chance to pick one up at a very sound price. Â I can think of no better place to park cash.
