Description

This just came out of the woodwork from a farm in rural Virginia and is known to have been a WW1 War Trophy.  IN 96-97% condition we have a German Army issued DWM 1916 Luger Pistol with one matching magazine and the original 1916 dated holster, proofed tool and spare mag, exactly as it was brought back from the great war as war booty.  The pistol is all matching with an excellent mint bore and the grip straps are extremely nice.  The brown holster is 1916 dated and maker marked and is quite nice.  This is a great find, Lugers like this rarely come out of the woodwork these days and this has never been in any collection, its sat on a closet shelf for many decades.  This is a great example of the very iconic German WW1 sidearm.
