SOLD RARE MINT CRISP FN49 RIFLE….VENEZUELAN CONTRACT IN 7X57 CALIBER

In mint crisp condition condition, we have a rare and highly sought after Venezuelan contract FN49 Rifle in 7×57 caliber.  This rifle is not import marked and was sold as surplus in the 1950’s-60’s era.  The bore and overall condition of this rifle is mint sharp excellent.   The FN49 was perhaps the best of the first generation of military semi-auto rifles, however due to the onset of WW2 before its manufacture could begin it came on the scene too late to realize its full potential.  when it was finally rolled out for sales in 1948 it was already largely obsolete.  In spite of this production continued until 1960.  Today they are highly collectible and very highly regarded for the quality.
