Description

In 98% very crisp condition we have an early mid war German Army Eagle/37 Waffenamted J.P. Sauer Model 38H Pistol.  The pistol is totally correct and matching and the bore is mint.  This is one of the earliest non commercial finish wartime pistols produced.  It still has the full slide logo and the early style of magazine.  While Nazi Police marked Sauer’s are fairly common, The Army issued pistols are much more elusive and are highly sought after by collectors.  The Sauer Model 38H is considered to be at the pinnacle of small pocket pistol design with its cocking/de-cocking leaver and the ergonomic design.  Its taken nearly 80 years for this design to become dated with the advent of all the ultra small compact 9mm pistols available on the market.  This would be a great addition to any serious collection.
