This is the one P.38 pistol that every level of collector has asked me to find for them, the extremely ethereal October, 1940 Production Walther made ac NO DATE P.38 Pistol. It is estimated that only 2,800 of this variation were manufactured and they are like finding the needle in the haystack, they just never turn up for sale and if they do they are usually seriously flawed in some way……
In 94% factory original condition, all matching except for the zero series mag, and with an excellent bore and also with a very rare 1940 dated C. Heinichen, Dresden made very early P.38 Holster. The pistol is a completely orthodox textbook example with numbered grips and the proper waffenamted small parts. and much of the fragile commercial grade Walther High Polish finish still intact. This is one of the very few of these pistols that survived WW2 somewhat unscathed. Absolutely a pistol that very few serious P.38 collectors will ever have the chance to own.
