IN 97% VERY SHARP CONDITION, WE HAVE A TOP EXAMPLE OF A NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WALTHER “b” BLOCK ac 40 P.38 PISTOL. THIS IS ALL MATCHING EXCEPT FOR THE MAG AND IS A 100% TEXTBOOK CORRECT EXAMPLE. THE PISTOL IS MATCHING DOWN TO THE GRIPS. THE BORE IS EXCELLENT. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL EARLY HIGH POLISH GUN THAT SAW USE FOR NEARLY ALL OF THE WAR.
THESE EARLY 1940 PRODUCTION PISTOLS WERE USED VERY HARD,AND TO LOCATE ONE THIS CRISP IS A TRUE FIND THAT ANY P.38 COLLECTOR WOULD WANT TO OBTAIN.
Scotty’s Collector Insight…This is a very nice pistol that shows well and more importantly it’s all correct and original. If it still had the matching mag it would be priced at least $1500 higher. These pistols are rarely encountered still with the matching mag. It belongs in a growing collection.
