Out of stock
In 98% original mint crisp condition, we have a very late 1942/early 1943 Mauser production byf42 P.38 Pistol from the initial no letter block with a desirable early serial number of 9305. This is one of the very first P.38 pistols made by Mauser in early 1943 or possibly right at the end of 1942 and is part of the initial delayed 1942 production run. The bore is excellent, and the pistol is of course all matching and factory original. These very early Mauser made pistols are very interesting because Mauser had not yet perfected their production techniques and they show a certain roughness in areas, especially the front grip strap.
These pistols are known for the dusty blue finish, which is only seen on the early byf 42 & 43 production. The magazine is the factory original early Mauser magazine with no “v” under the P.38 on the side of the mag. This is a very scarce and highly sought-after early Mauser made pistol that collectors will jump at the chance to add to there portfolio.
