THU AUG 6, EXCEPTIONAL GERMAN WWII MAUSER MADE byf 44 P.38 PISTOL, ALL BLUE VARIANT IN THE “Y” BLOCK, MINT CRISP STUNNING! 1970’S PAWN SHOP COLLECTION

In 98% mint new condition, We have a top example of an all blue finish “y” block production Mauser made byf44 coded P.38 Pistol.  This is an actual vet brought back pistol, and like everything we sell, it is a totally matching original and correct; a textbook example of Mauser’s later 1944 production. This is about as plain vanilla of a P.38 as you can get and for that reason its an ideal example to have in your collection as this is what was the German Army was using later in the war.  This is a commonly encountered variant in uncommonly nice condition.

This pistol just came out of the woodwork; it’s part of a collection of  WWII era pistols that walked into a pawnshop back in the 1970’s that were salted away by the owner.  They have just recently been discovered, and we are offering this stash that has not seen the light of day in a very very long time.
